by Man Movie...I mean one with Balls, of course.

Snagfilms.com is amazing...watch tons of documentaries - share them on your sites - super cool. Ad supported, but that is a minor annoyance. (That I help create, so I would be a hypocrite to totally deride them.)

I want to see the movie "The Year One" now.

Sadly, I have to wait till June 19th.

This my favorite Christian Bale mash-up.

Mashable.com has proposed that PERHAPS the Christian Bale rant was actually a totally successful viral marketing ploy. I am inclining to believe it as it is kind of awesome and totally sustaining attention.

The LA Times has a great little list of the most iconic styles from film. This is a great list, with the exception of Reservoir Dogs. I simply do not agree with that being a style movie. (or I just hate Quentin Tarantino, which I do)

Grey Gardens is personal favorite for it's REAL style influence. This is not a designer, this is just a crazy mad lady and her lovely look. Just look at the colors in that photograph, the perfect pale blue, the lush brown and the super bright pop of yellow. PERFECT.

The last movie on the list is one that I can not believe, I have not seen. I just added it to my netflix, not available for instant watching...darn it.

In fact, a style movie marathon would be a great way to spend the day.

I know my readers are generally a bit on the lazy side and certainly interested in things that are free. This movie seems like a perfect fit. What else are you going to do tonight? Read or something?

More information at IMDB and Wikipedia, plus a real blog post by a real blogger on this film. Seriously, people usually write a ton of stuff on these blogs. I would have to argue with the line in his post that states the ending of this film is as good as anything in Hitchcock, let's be real - we do not compare film that has the line, "I am super woman" snarled over a man, tied-up and wearing only a leopard-print banana hammock.

We just don't.

I will want to see the movie, The Soloist.

But will ultimately be annoyed with having to be somewhere at set time and place, and therefore just rent it on Netflix instead. I have always had a crush on Robert Downey Jr.
