PlayStation actually did a commercial that is NOT, I repeat NOT cliche or disrespectful or ignorant of women...other than the fact that many women would just hook the game station up the internet themselves. Still, clever and funny. I like it.
Seriously, this is brillz and I love and miss animated GIF's. I really wish I could find my old copy of Image Ready. It was the best at animated GIF's, the new Creative Studio is horseshit for animated GIF's in comparison.
Dave Moore and Pat Miles of WCCO share a concerned perspective on the "Violent" "Hardcore" punk scene and the affect it may have on one blow dart throwing young Kenwood "Punk" boy.
There was a Star Fire in the 60's, I wasn't around yet for that one. I wish they had kept it and in fact even my Mother wishes they had kept the Star Fire. She said it had the most "peep" which is true, the Star Fire did have a V8 and a smaller body than 70's models. The first car that I remember was purchased in 1977 on the day of my cousins wedding. It was a surprise for my Mother. I was the flower girl, which made me very happy. The surprise of a new car, for some reason did not make my Mother as happy. I am guessing, she just didn't think it was needed. I am not sure now, and will have to dig through old photos or call Mom to find out, but I that car was a Town Sedan (four door) either 88 or 98. It was HUGE! I mean really giant I could stretch out in the FRONT seat between my two (not so small) parents! The lights at night on the dash board were fantastic. The green glow, the faint patterns. It was images such as those created my first introduction and love of Modern Art. Around 1983, my Mother was given a much more gas friendly, Delta 88 coupe. This car became my first car when she acquired an 88 Royale Brougham sedan in deep burgundy. She didn't like burgundy, she thought it was too dark. The previous two cars were tan and she didn't care for that either. This car was purchased on the day of another family wedding. I don't remember which family member. There was at least one more car purchase on a wedding day, the day of my brother's second wedding I received an 88 Royale Brougham, white with burgundy interior and the half soft top...with cruising lights on the outside. It had power everything and was as much a grandpa car as could be...but I loved it. It was a clear step up from the Cutlass, two door that I had been driving. My Mother by this point had graduated to a 98, this car is amazing. Tons of buttons on the dash board, all of which my Mother never touched. She wouldn't let us touch them either because it might break something. The trunk of this car could sleep four. I was very happy to inherit this car when my Mother upgraded once more to an Aurora in white, with leather seats (a first for our family of olds.) Once I had my hands on the 98 (model year 1992), I proceeded to figure out what all those buttons were actually for... I miss my Father's Oldsmobiles. I miss my Father, too. GM should have killed off Pontiac instead, those cars suck. GM should have understood that my Father's Oldsmobile is the one that I want, a car that doesn't need every part replaced before it turns a few years, a car that lasts through and starts through the coldest of Minnesota winters, a car that can take on snowdrifts, a car that is as comfortable as a couch, a car that can easily go 250,000 miles on all the original parts, a car that doesn't anything extra because it already is what it needs to be a great car.
