MPLS makes top 10 list of best local food cities!

Super Happy to see Minneapolis on this list of the top 10 best cities for locally produced food, however there are better picks that Cafe Brenda in my opinion.
Cafe Brenda is perhaps a leader, due to the long history. The sister location called Spoon River is equally as good and adds it's own flavor to the tastes that Brenda has been creating for decades.
Still, there are even better picks and frankly so many more to choose from...I would love to have seen The Crafstman get this kind of attention. They are as local as local can be and not at all veggie. Many foodies equate local with grass and greens, but some of the best local tastes can be much more than those things growing from the local ground. The Craftsman has an ever changing menu and the best local and handmade Charcutier plate in town. I absolutely love it!!!
Lucia's is also a well known and well reknowned local favorite. More off the path than that is Harvest. A fine dining experience that is not like many seen else where.
The more local the better!

I know, I am way behind on posting. I have missed many interesting and timely events and days of sorrow and celebration.
This is from The Uniform Project - 1 Dress 365 Days. I read about it on Consumed/The New York Times column.

This look celebrating Canada Day, is my favorite. it is still intrinsically about the dress itself and yet fresh and interesting. Other looks are clearly nothing about the dress, despite it being in the mix. I love the idea and the effort of creativity involved in this project.
